三鷹の森ジブリ美術館

私は夏休みに日本に行きました。三鷹の森ジブリ美術館に行きました。三か月前にきっぷを買いました（三鷹の森ジブリ美術館できっぷが買えません）。家族と博物館に行きました。

三鷹の森ジブリ美術館のきっぷはとてもおもしろいです：

えがたくさんあります。そして、たのしでした。アニメーターのせいかつはとてもむずかしですね。

夏休みに日本に行きました。家族ととうきょうにいきました。そしてとうきょうでまつりがありました。なまえがわかりません。でも　こうえんでたくさんひとがりました。そしてみなさんはダンスをしていました。一人はたいこをしました。

Reflection + Goal/Activity

Looking back, I have made progress in speaking more fluently. This includes speed and pitch. However, my goal remains to become more fluent in speech. This is primarily a continuation of my past goal, but the activities will change slightly --

I think I need to focus a little more on free-form conversation, so a new goal is to free-form conversation once every two weeks (perhaps in office hours).

私のなかやすみ

私のなかやつみはよかったです。キリングトン（Killington,Vermont）に行きました。キリングトンでともだちとスキーおしました。スキーがすきです。それから、ともだちとばんごはんを食べました。とてもおいしかったです。ハンバーガーを食べました。ハンバーガーがすきですよ。

わたしのすきなデザートはアイスクリームです。わたしのすきなレストランはハーロパブです(Halo Pub).

PE1 : Goal and Activity Statement

Having a semester's worth of experience behind me and looking forward, I would like to proceed with my pronunciation/speaking skills as follows:

Things I want to improve:
I want to continue to work on my conversation speed - continue moving towards smoother sentences and work on my sentence flow.
Additionally, I think my pronunciation has improved greatly. However, the finer nuances like intonation and word pitch are two things that I want to continue to focus on.
Ideally, by the end of the semester I will be able to converse with the larger picture in mind.

To do this, I will do the following:
Every week, work on the fundamentals of my speaking (by reviewing exercises in the textbook and lecture slides) -- grammar, vocabulary.
I will do shadowing every couple weeks and focus on intonation and word pitch.
I will mark my progress in conversation speed and monitor to see if I need more focus on this area.
